Our small but growing library contains books, videos, audio tapes, journal articles and newsletters of interest. These are available for loan free to Arafmi members. Membership runs annually from 1/11 each year through 31/10 of the following year.

Arafmi acknowledges the difficulties that country members experience in accessing suitable reading material. To increase access to valuable information, a special policy for the lending of books from the Arafmi library has been introduced. Books may be posted to country members on loan (with a stamped return envelope enclosed). Arafmi members who pay full membership fees will be invoiced for the cost of postage both ways. Arafmi members who pay concessional fees will be invoiced for the cost of postage one-way.
Arafmi aims to be responsive to carers in rural areas. We acknowledge the limitations to our current rural support services and we are eager to further our understanding of the issues facing families and friends in country regions.

We are also keen to establish links with existing service providers in rural areas, both non-government and government agencies, to determine regional needs and develop supportive networks.
